The Deacons:
The responsibilities of the Deacons shall be to assist at the Lord’s Supper and baptismal services; aid in the spiritual care of the church; assist in the preparations for worship services be actively involved in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ; care for the temporal needs of members; encourage, enlist, and support those able to help others; in the absence of all elders, emergency decisions shall be made by the Deacons; and to perform other duties assigned by the elders.
The Deaconesses:
The responsibilities of the Deaconesses shall be to work cooperatively with the Deacons; prepare the Lord’s Supper and assist at baptismal services; assist in the general spiritual care of the church; assist in the care of the sick and needy; perform appropriate ministries to women and children; be actively involved in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, and assist in caring for the temporal needs of members
